Chris & Travis

Travis Bernhardt and Chris Ross scribble outside the lines of improv comedy with their high energy, hilarious, and surreal two-man show. Their extreme physicality, endearingly strange characters, and commitment to entertain by any means necessary have surprised and delighted audiences across Canada.

Formed in 2015, Chris & Travis sold out their runs at the 2015 and 2017 Vancouver Fringe Festivals (winning Pick of the Fringe in 2017), emerged victorious in the 2016 Vancouver Cagematch Tournament of Champions, and have been selected twice for the Vancouver International Improv Festival (2015 and 2016), as well as the 2017 Paper Streel Improv Festival in Victoria, BC, and the 2017 Play the Fool Festival in Edmonton, AB.

Unscriptured

The improvised church service for a religion made up on the spot!

Based on a concept first performed by Chris & Travis in 2015, Unscriptured made its debut as a solo show in 2017 at the Edmonton Fringe Festival. In 2018 it will tour to the Saskatoon, Edmonton, Victoria, and Vancouver Fringe Festivals.

Unscriptured puts the audience in the position of church goers, singing, laughing, and praying together for 60 minutes and leaving as members of an entirely new faith — but one they've always been a part of.

"I was unconvinced at the outset that this improv show could work, but this was a lot of fun" –The Edmonton Journal
